WTN: Weingut Gisselbrecht Pinot Blanc Reserve Speciale 2006

AC Alsace

Deep yellow in the glass.

A rich nose, honeyed, over-ripe fruit, mango, turning to old cheese with some time.

Fairly weighty, fleshy apricots, mango and peach, floral, spicy, honeyed, fairly good acidity, a hint of botrytis, incredibly rich.

Tangy finish.

Purchased at $12.75 (Canadian) and a steal at that price.
