WTN: Ch. Bernadotte 2000

Really nice Bordeaux profile with toasted oak, herb and some acid. Has a very classy nose. Nobody's definition of complex but a nice maturing bottle. Has some green notes and some fine chewy tannins. Tastes like a lot of Cab Franc to me, which is a good thing. All in all a nice wine from a distinctive vintage and a pleasure to drink. Wish I'd bought a case.

I liked this when it came out. I probably should have bought some more but didn't. Ah well, there's always more wine.

Agreed, but at $12 a bottle it would be hard to beat at this point.
