A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. John's original intention was to make a sweet/LH/dessert wine from these grapes. Didn't happen. This GWT falls just shy of being over-the-top/overripe. Huge primary GWT fruit but not the spiciness of Alsatian versions. With spicy Thai food, this should be very good. Not sure where this wine is headed but the r.s. suggests it will be a lot more interesting in 2-3 yrs. Interesting/delicious out-of-the-box Calif GWT.
