I guess there is no chat tonight. I don't see a post and last Wednesday no one was there when I showed up.

Hmm...how odd. Cynthia's usually good about posting a notice even when she can't be there. Wonder what's up? I'm having guests over for dinner in about 45 minutes or I'd sit in and help out. Let me look into this.

I think Cynthia is moving or on the verge, and extremely busy. I'll bet she forgot, and I almost did, too.

Happy to open the Chat Room, though, and I'll show up at least for the beginning!

I believe all parts of the world have now gone over to winter time (Northern Hemisphere) or daylight time (South), so the 9:30 p.m. US EST chat time translates to 0130 GMT ... 6:30 p.m. on the US West Coast and, well, you figure it out!

That would be my guess, too, David. And since it doesn't take an official sanction to make it so, let's just agree to start chat at 02:30 UTC (GMT)/9:30 pm EST/6:30 pm PST/1:30 pm Sydney/04:30 Tel Aviv/03:30 W. Europe... and see what happens.

Erk. Just got a phone call from Jean. I'll be late to the party, I'm afraid, if I can get there at all

She got blindsided at work today and couldn't get online to post anything. She's not moved yet, but it's Wrapping Up time at her job.

Very understandable and no problem. Just give her our best.
