Piedmont.
Light cherry red in the glass.
Spicy, cherry fruit on the nose.
Dry, quite tangy, rough, faint cherry fruit and rough on the finish. I am pleased to report that the wine underwent a great transformation with a bit of time: fairly rich (bordering on sweet) cherry fruit, raspberry, red currant, viscous, red licorice, spicy.
Light cherry on the drying finish.
I am glad that the wine rallied and made a good showing, but I wouldn't buy this again.
Puchased at $12.15 (Canadian).
