WTN: Magic carpet ride

2007 Edmunds St. John That Old Black Magic - USA, California, Sierra Foothills, El Dorado County (8/14/2014)
Alas that I did not buy cases of this wine on release. Woe is me! This is just spectacular, with dark berry fruit, leather, earth and warm herb aromatics and a subtle creamy aspect on the palate. Just a wow wine that is really hard to stay away from. Fan-freaking-tastic!

I kick myself every time I see a note on this wine as I never got any, even when a few bottles showed up on the shelves here. I really can't explain why I didn't since I was already a fan of Steve's wines.

It is no longer my lament, as I now buy a lot every year.
