A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Mazzocco is a wnry that pretty much flies under everybody's radar. It was one time owned by Tom & ?? Mazzocco. This winemaker was ?? Zagunis or some such name from DryCreekVnyds. It is now owned by Ken&Diane Wilson, who also own WilsonVnyds there on WestDryCreekRd. They make a whole bunch of vnyd-designate Zins. I've not tried anything from Mazzocco in yrs, so don't know how they are.
This wine, nothing profound, went perfectly well w/ my roasted Gypsy/Bull'sHorn/Lipstick peppers w/ a ton of fresh basil & blue cheese dressing. The PeachyCanyon Dusi Zin '88 was pretty much DOA.
