• 2012 Willi Schaefer Graacher Domprobst Riesling Kabinett #3 - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (2/10/2024)
  Twelve years old and still not even close to maturity. It’s still more of a Spätlese, but perhaps it’s slimming down just a bit. Needs at least ten more years to capture its full potential, but definitely a joy to drink now with ripe fruit and bright acidity. Ultimately this wine will outlive me.

Thanks David. By chance I picked up a case of this from my storage last week (costs have been rising, it was never smart to pay for storage on Kabinett, but now flatout stupid). I haven't tasted since release, think it will be next Riesling opened!
