We tried these three last night at Pig+Fig:
1. Meyer-Fonne Pfoeller Riesling AC: Vd'A (13.5%; MeBalP) 2020: Med.light gold color; beautiful R/floral/mango/lemony fairly strong Mosel valve oil/gout de petrol slight mineral quite complex nose; rather tart/tangy strong floral/mango/R light petrol/Mosel valve oil quite rich/lush totally dry almost VT-level beautiful flavor; very long/lingering finish that follows flavor; a beautiful R that's almost of a VT level. $54.00 (K-L)

2. Meyer-Fonne PinotGris Reserve AC: Vd'A (13.5%; Vin Sec) 2022: Med.gold color; strong floral/PG/carnations light earthy/dusty fairly classic/PG/spicy lovely nose; bit soft quite rich/lush fairly dry strong PG/floral/spicy/carnations classic ripe/PG flavor; very long/linger ripe/PG finish that follows flavor; almost at a VT level of richness; quite a lovely expression of Alsace PG at a very fair price. $33.00 (K-L)

3. Meyer-Fonne GWT Reserve AC: Vd'A (13.5%; Moelleux; MeBaD) 2022: Med.gold color; strong very spicy/GWT/little hair oil/rather ripe light mineral/perfumed rather complex beautiful nose; bit soft very rich/lush/ripe quite spicy/nutmeg/cinammon/floral/GWT slight perfumed talc/hair-oil very slightly off-dry near VT-level beautiful flavor; very long/lingering very spicy/subtle finish that follows flavor; a big/rich VT-level/soft/lush GWT w/ little hair-oil character; resembles some the Zind-Humbrecht style of GWT but not as blatently sweet; very good value in this style at $33.00 (K-L)

More gribblecerts from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. These were the high-end Meyer-Fonne whites that Kermit-Lynch released at a discount-case package of the new M-F releases. Across the board, these wines were very well liked and mostly very fairly priced. Good wines in a style midway between Trimbach & Zind-Humbrecht.
