Holiday gift source question

by Eden B. » Sat Nov 17, 2007 11:53 am

Someone, in some form, at some point typically asks about holiday gift buying sources. So, with Chanukah just around the corner, I'll be that someone this year.

What are your favorite specialty food sources these days? Already bought some of the finishing salts folks raved about earlier this year, but we are looking for a few more great items, as well.

Another way of thinking about this is: where would you want someone to shop for you (and for what items)? :D

Eden, my birthday is right before Christmas. A few years ago my brother and sister-in-law began sending me Williams-Sonoma croissants as a birthday gift. At first I thought it was a little odd, but now I look forward to it and always serve them at our Christmas dinner. There are lots of great things at that store and I also like Dean and Deluca.
