Kishu Mandarins. Cute little things that pack a punch of flavor.

They look spectacular! Seedless?

I can see popping those like jelly beans, and some really interesting dessert concepts.

I hope my daughter doesn't see these. She's been going through five or six Clementines a day. The ones here are called "Cuties", which is a great marketing idea for nine-year-old girls. Can't imagine how many of those Kishus she'd polish off.

Seven year old boys, too. Jimmy goes through a bag every day or two. I think he could single-handedly take these fruits to extinction.

I could see doing it....with a razor blade.

And yes, Robin, they are seedless and very sweet; just wonderful.

Not just kids. I adore those clementines too. I eat them 5 or 6 at a time throughout their entire season.

I looked for these mandarins at my store today, but sadly they didn't have any.

Cynthia, they are only in season for one month (about two weeks to go) and they are a Central Market exclusive. Sorry.
