Cheeseburger, anyone?

I was tempted to drop this in The Basement, because I'm not positive that this is food related enough for the Kitchen forum.

Vile, disgusting, evil link, with PIX

Um, yeah, I'm sure that's what it's going to look like when you pop the top on this bad boy.

Why am I completely unsurprised about the country of origin?

My god, he actually finished it!

Pretty scary.

It's actually an MNRE (Meal Not Ready to Eat).

You do know, don't you, that MRE stands for "meals refused by Ethiopians"?

Actually, that's pretty impressive. Not that I'd eat it, it looks quite gross, but just that they could get it in the can in the first place and keep it fresh etc. I wonder how they do it, whether they can it and then then heat the cans ? I wonder why more people don't can bread ? Hmmm...

Celia dear, you are thinking about it way too deeply! Take a glass or three of port and veg out at the tv until your mind clears.
