More a wine match than a recipe.

Was sitting alone at home last night and felt like a glass (OK, bottle) of wine after dinner.

Thought about it awhile and came up with this match:

nice crispy Sauvignon Blanc (in this case a BC La Frenz)

fresh croissant sliced up into thin horizontal slices - top with

thin slices off a nice log of Chevre cheese

top with thin slices of ripe Asian Pear - still lots of acidity, not too sweet

Turned out to be a really fine match. I raised a glass to the chef (me). OK, so I raised several glasses.
