Kashrut of all evil.

A jewish friend, whom I haven't seen in years, came to visit this past weekend.
I decided to make him some of the jewish foods we used to enjoy when we hung out. I didn't think to ask if he kept kosher - since he didn't used to - and he didn't think to tell me he does now.
It made for an interesting day. I blogged about it, but it's too long to post here. However if you want an overly-long detailed account, it's here: http://dangerspouse.diaryland.com/131111_22.html. (I was pretty hung over when I typed all that out, so I make no apologies for, uh, "creative" spelling, grammar or form. Or adult language.)
