Yes, I have. I find it to be a very respectable beer. Another that I have found in the last year or so is Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. This is a slammin' good beer. The hops aren't as crisp as what you would find in a west coast beer but I really like the balance of hop and barley. It clocks in at 9%, too.

They also do a 120 minute IPA that is dry hopped every day for a month!!! This beer is priced at $10 per 12 oz. bottle   , so I haven't tried it yet. I would suspect this to be along the lines of a barley wine so it would probably age well.

Scotch of Choice?

by RichardAtkinson » Thu Dec 07, 2006 12:34 pm

Larry,

My current favorite is Highland Park 12. Well, actually, I prefer the HP 18, but rarely want to pay the entry fee.

Highland Park is definitely good stuff, but a bit too smokey for me. I like Dalmour.

I'm a Lagavulin man (when I can pay the cover charge). Otherwise, it's Talisker.

Larry,

I like Caol Ila and Lavaguilin (sp?) from Islay. Glenmorangie is my Highland malt of choice at the moment.
