Babies in restaurants

by Jenise » Mon Jan 13, 2014 5:11 pm

So another pair of bad breeders took their precious bundle of joy out to eat. At Alinea, which is probably Chicago's best restaurant and certainly one of the best restaurants in the country, which doesn't have high chairs. And where you don't make a reservation, you actually buy a ticket. So this probably wasn't a last minute decision. (The mother kept the baby in her lap all evening. And natch, the baby cried.)

So, next day chef-owner Grant Achatz tweeted about the baby and the pissed off diners. Which caused someone, somewhere to imagine the baby's side of the story under the twitter name AlineaBaby.

It's pretty funny, here's the feed (start from the bottom, of course).

Wow - he even brought Chris Christie into it!
