This is probably a really dumb question but I bought some sea salt from a place on Cape Cod and its a bit wet and it causes havoc in my salt grinder.

What do you do? You can't really add rice since its in a grinder, correct?

Haven't tried this, but perhaps you could attempt to dry some in your oven at the lowest heat possible. Another idea, might be to try a food dehydrator??
IIRC, they do make grinders for wet salt.

No need to heat it at low temperature: salt doesn't melt until it reaches 1,400°. Just put it in an oven at 250° for a while and it should dry out (though it might cake).
