...Assistant to the Pastry Chef position for the summer at a world class restaurant near us. I am so proud of her! You should see/taste what she does at home when she's not working. One more year of college and then let's see where this goes.

Jenise, she is studying sociology with some business management on the side and will be a senior this fall. She has always enjoyed cooking for her roommates including doing the shopping and planning out the meals a week at a time. She also likes to cook at home and will put an apple pie (or something) together at 10 PM, which just blows my mind as I'm ready for bed then. (BTW: You would easily guess where she's working.)
She has not expressed much interest in going to the C.I.A. but might be interested in focusing on pastry classes somewhere.
