Better yet, just actually bite into them. Btw, when I used to make Bob's lunch every day? He never knew exactly what to expect, though if a sandwich was involved you could bet that a bite would be missing. Sometimes out of the center.

There is a Popeye cartoon called The Billionaire where Popeye is a billionaire who decides to give a million dollars each to Olive Oyl, Wimpy, and Swee'Pea. He then checks on what they have done with their legacy.

Olive Oyl has bought a beauty salon and is giving herself a makeover.

Wimpy has bought a hamburger factory.

Swee'Pea is making his own candy bars, and he takes a bite out of each one for quality control purposes. Unfortunately nobody wants to eat the candy bars with a bite taken out of them, so he has to eat them all himself.
