Hermanos Lurton 1994 Tempranillo Crianza Tinto Fino Vino de Mesa de Castilla y Leon ($8.49)
Dark garnet color. Spicy oak, black fruit, anise and leather aromas, fine and complex. Juicy, lemony fruit flavor, tasty and fresh, a bit short in the finish. Pleasant table wine, although perhaps a bit less of an impressive bargain than its more modest sibling tasted on Nov. 29. Importer: Classic Wine Imports Inc., Boston. (Dec. 10, 1997)
